How does viscosity affect the battery materials mixing process?

Battery slurries are “non-Newtonian,” meaning their thickness changes under stress. They can reach viscosities of multi-million centipoise (thicker than peanut butter). Mixers must have high torque and specialized blade geometries to move this heavy material without overheating it.
